Cell theory states that: All living things are made up of one or more cells. Cells are the basic unit of structure and function of organisms. All cells arise from existing cells.

The cell theory is a basic tenet of modern biology. this was first stated by Matthias Schleiden and Theodor Schwann in 1838–39, that cells are the basic units of structure and function in living organisms. It is also the theory that cells form the fundamental structural and functional units of all living organisms. this was proposed in 1838 by Matthias Schleiden and by Theodor Schwann.

The Cell Theory says that everything that is living is made up of at least one cell. It also says that cells are the basic unit of structure and function of organisms. Also it says that all cells come from existing cells.

The cell theory consists of three different things. First is that all living things are made up of one or more cells. Second is that cells are the basic unit of structure and function in organisms. And third is that all cells arise from existing cells.
