I learned about kareotyping. I also learned about the different stages of mieosis. The lab was time consuming but it helped me to learn alot. I liked the lab better than trying to learn out of the book.
Yesterday during the lab i learned about Karyotyping. Karyotyping is the matching of chromosomes together. I also learned about different disorders that can occur if there are problems while matching chromosomes. Some of thes disorders are downs syndrome and Turner's syndrome. I liked this lab, but i wouldnt want to do it on a regular basis.
I learned that what the stages of meiosis look like. It is a whole new thing to look at the stages under a microscope then to look at a picture in the book. I also learned about karotyping in the experiment. I like the lab but I wish i could get a better explanation on the lab.
I learned about the different disorders that can happen when some thing goes wrong with the chromosomes. I also learned about karyotypes and karyotyping. I liked the lab, but it got a little time consuming.

I did like this lab, I just wish I would have known a little more background information on it, since I haven't learned about it before and also a little more help from my partner, would have been helpful.
