Selective breeding is the intentional mating of two animals in an attempt to produce offspring with desirable characteristics or for the elimination of a trait. People use selective breeding in dogs.

Selective breeding is when the breeders choose certain plants and animals. They want ones that have the desired traits to be the parents for the next generation. Its been used alot in the cow agriculture.

Selective breeding is when you select two individuals to mate because of their desirable traits. In the cattle industry you use the best bull and cow to come up with the best offspring. Thats what im familar with selective breeding.

people use selective breeding with rasing cows so they can get the best animals. if they know one animal has somthing bad about it they can correct it by breeding with a differant animal. it is very useful for people rasing livestock and other small animals.

Selective breeding is the mating between two animals to produce offspring with the characteristics than you want to show up in an offspring. An example of selective breeding that I know about is with puppies, my grandma has a pure breed Yorkie and wanted to use selective breeding with another pure breed yorkie.
