The Calvin Cycle is a cycle of biochemical reactions taking place in the chloroplasts plants during photosynthesis in which carbon dioxide is fixed and six-carbon sugar formed. It is also called the Calvin-Benson cycle. This was named for Melvin Calvin, who was a Nobel prize-winning chemist.

Well first off Calvin cycle was founded by Melvin Calvin, and James Bassham. It is the method of carbon dioxide fixation. It relates to photosynthesis because it the carbon fixiation is one of the first steps of photosynthesis.

The Calvin cycle is when chemical reactions happen in the chloroplast. This happens in photosynthesis. Carbon dioxide is fixed, and also carbon sugars are formed.

It is a cycle of biochemical reactions taking place in the chorplast during photosynthesis. Carbon dioxide is fixed and six carbon sugar is formed. In photosynthesis the plants make energy, and in the
Calven cycle they make energy.
