THe conservation of mass states mass is neither created nor destroyed. We need this for changing matter and for physical and chemical changes. Conservation of energy states that energy is neither created or destroyed, but it can change forms. This is important because living things use different chemical reactions to get the energy needed for life processes.

Mass cant be created or destroyed. mass is everywhere. We have to have this for changing it.

Conservation of mass and conservation of energy is important to biology bc we need these things to change matter and for chemicaal changes along with physical changes. THat is why we need this .......hi

o not a whole lot........are we suppoosed to be chatting on the blog thing????

yah but hix is the best teacher, so yah, but yah i cant wait for band

i do agree about the hix comment...fo sho...and yes band will be fun...but not as fun as biology is everyday

yah ms hix makes it soooooooooo interesting, she is just one of the best of the best,no comment , thats it, hix is the best!! bam

BAM!!!! Yes, i just get so interested in the lectures (i dont know how to spell that) that the bell rings way to early. It is tops...

The conservation of mass states that mass can niether be created or destroyed. Conservation of energy states that energy cant be created or destroyed. It also cant even change forms. We need this because living things use different chemical reactions to get thier different processes.

WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!!?! that makes no sence.............................and taylor that is a very nice blog

THE conservation of mass says that mass cant be created or destroyed. Energy is the same only with energy instead of mass. They are important because living things need energy to live and things like that.

um i dont know....i;m nominating ms. hix for the nobel peace prize and teacher of the year......

I SECOND THAT VOTE 4 SHO

The conservation of mass says that mass cant be created or destroyed. Same for the conservation of energy- it cant be created or destroyed. It can be transfered tho. It is important because all living things are effected by it. They can effect physical and chemical reactions.

The conservation of mass is that mass is not created or destroyed. We use the conservation of mass so we can matter or change it chemically or phyiscally. Conservation of energy is that energy cannot be created or destroyed, but it is able to change its form. It is somewhat important because animals and people to help lives of living things.

The conservation of mass means that mass can't be created or destroyed. The world needs that for the physical and chemical changes of matter. conservation of enerygy means that it can just change forms. That is need for the proccess of life.

Conservation of Mass: Mass is neither created or destroyed. The reason that this is important is because it is needed for chemical and physical changes. Conservation of Energy: Energy is not created or destroyed it can only change forms. This is important for the reactions that living things make so that they can live.

neither of the mcan be created or destroyed! that is why it is important!!

The conservation of mass is that matter can not be created or destroyed it can only change form or the state of matter it is in.

Mass is neither created nor destroyed in any change. The same same mass is present before and after a change of a substance. Energy may change from one form to another, but the total amount of energy does not change.

They are important to biology because neither mass nor energy are created nor destroyed. They are able to charge forms though. This is important because our bodies use energy to do all of our functions.
