In my groups jar we found that everything was pretty much decomposed. We found "mystery spheres" in our soil that we think came from the plants before they died. I also found that the soil was kinda warm.
Well, someone poked a hole in the lid of my jar. And because they did that things started to grow in it. The soil that we put in there was very fertile, because of all of the things that died.
We found lots of black soil and some sand. There was black mossy stuff on the top of the dirt. The dirt was wet. We found a sketeton from the frogs, we could see the skull and the backbone well.
I found a big clod of grass that was piled in below the dirt. I also found rich soil that was probably filled with dead organisms. The last thing that i found was that the apple was decomposed within the soil.
I found dead gooey black things, and some frog skeletons. The pine cone didn't decay, but the grass did. The rock was unchanged (but stinkier) and the leaf had turned dark. The smell was awful, luckily it was raining, so it wasn't as strong.
In our jar everything was still moist but the plants and frog were decomposed. The soil was very dark and very fertile. We also found plant seeds so the plant reproduced before it died.
Our group found that the jar was very hard to open. Also we found a frog! It was very gross but we found it. Also, we found that all of our stuff was all decomposed and the soil was very rich and fertilized.
our jar didnt change much from the last time we looked at it. everything was just black and slimy. there was also a lot of water. and a black spongy plant
Yesterday my group found 8 stones and alot of mad in our jar, but unfortunatelly we could not find our little poor frog, ofcourse how can he live in this jar without any air, it was. so we also found stick and a nut, nothing else, everything died there.
in my jar i found lots of wat soil & sad & gravel/rocks. also some berries that we put in there, and our gross flattened now white frog. I also found the big cat tail thing we put in.
