Earth Day
What do you feel that our school can do to help out the community of Warner on Earth Day? Do you feel that this one day of difference can help create change for the rest of the year?
I think that we can go out and pick up ditches as a school aroudn the area. It will help to create a cleaner community. It will help people to want to get out and make a diffence. It will motivate other kids.
I think that we can keep recycling paper and recycling bottles. I think if we keep using the regular plates at lunch instead of the paper plates it would reduce the amount of garbage we have. I think on day of difference is better than nothing.
I think we could walk around the town and pick up garbage. It would make the community cleaner and look better. If you make it sound fun then the kids will want to do and it will make them want to clean up.
i think our school could help clean up the area and help use less paper and try to find ways to use less power to keep the school running. we could also plant trees somewere.
I think we could plant some stuff around the school, and mabey clean up around the mog and ditches. we could also learn how to recycle stuff. I think this one day will help people to be more helpful in the future.
I think that picking up trash around Warner would help the environment. It will create a commmunity that is creating contaminated rivers and contaminated soil. It can also give excercise to the kids and get them involved and talking about the environment.
On Earth Day, our students and facilty can go outside and help clean up things that we can recycle or pick up things that have to be thrown away. We can help communicate with other towns about Earth Day and help get them started cleaning up too. Having only one day to try and create change throughout the year is probably not going to do much. I think there should be like 2 days to help the Earth and stuff a year because people forget easily.
I think that we could do some clean up around the town, such as they ditches by the highway, as well as making sure the playground is picked up. If our community does a great job at cleaning up, then this could be used as a motivator to continue to keep the community clean throughout the year.

i feel that our school could go clean up the town of warner and the near surrounding areas (in walking distance) to clean.could also recycle anything that isnt needed anymore.
