Cancer

You needed to look at four brochures of different types of cancers that you fellow students have created. You need to give me some feedback on those brochures. Tell me about four types of cancers and what are some of the preventative measures that you can take.

Alexis Brain Cancer-
The information is limited, i wish there was a little bit more information. Pictures are pretty decent, the information you provided wasn't bad but more would be helpful.

Alexis..brain cancer...
I thought your brochure was informative. It listed some causes of brain cancer, such as exposure to radiation. Also, it explained common symptoms. These include headaches and somtimes changes in behavior or temperature. Ways to prevent brain cancer are avoiding certain chemicals and radiation, as well as getting regular screenings.

Alyssa..lung cancer...
I really liked this brochure. It was informative and well-organized. It gave information on the causes of lung cancer, which include smoking, asbestos exposure, and radon exposure. The brochure also explained that regular screenings and avoiding second hand smoke can lower your chances of developing lung cancer.

Levi..leukemia...
I thought this was also a good brochure. It included the important information, as well as interesting statisitics. I learned that high levels of radiation and a family history of the cancer can increase your risk of developing it. Leading a healthy lifestyle and avoiding dangerous chemicals lowers your risk of developing leukemia.

Michele..skin cancer...
This was a good brochure, as well. It included information on different types of skin cancer, why people get skin cancer, what the symptoms are, and how to prevent it. It also included relative images. I learned that people with fair skin are more susceptible to the disease, and ultraviolet rays from the sun are the main cause of skin cancer. You can prevent this strain of cancer by protecting yourself from sun exposure.

Alexis: brain cancer: it's well organized and there's plenty of information. It's a tumor in the brain and you should be healthy to prevent it.

Collin: breast cancer: has good information and explains well. It's a lump in the breast and a way to prevent it is exercising.

Levi: leukemia: lots of information and organized. It's a cancer of the bone marrow and cells. A way to prevent it is to avoid exposure to radiation.

Tennison: colon cancer: good information and explained well but the picture is gross. A way to prevent it is to be healthy.

Michele; Skin Cancer-
I thought the brochure was very nice! The colors and everything tie together. The pictures show the real damage that can happen, which is very legitimate. Sunscreen saves lives.

Adam; Lung Cancer-
This brochure is all about getting down to the point, and I like that. The facts are great and the pictures are pretty swell too! My personal favorite part of this brochure is where it says "for further information on lung cancer, keep smoking"... :)

Levi; Leukemia Cancer-
The brochure is pretty good, and I really like the statistics page because it shows that leukemia can happen to anyone and anytime. Just keep in mind that visual appeal is important.

Jeremy; Brain Cancer-
The title page is very nice! I like the ribbon veeery much! Your information is very nice and it's just overall fairly good.

Levi Dinger's Brochure over Leukeima: Leukeima is cancer of bone marrow and that creates problems with creating blood cells. Symptoms can be of other diseases, so always talk to doctor. The stats are a nice thing to have. Preventions include avoid cancenogens and radiation. Information good. I like the pictures. Good brochure

Paige Tooker Breat Cancer:
Cancer in the breats is normally dectected by mammograms. Treatments: Chemotherpy, Hormone Therapy, Surgery. Preventions: Healthy diet, exercise, avoid radiation, and carcenogens. Great information and a very well designed brochure. I am mad that it does not include information about men with breast cancer.

Rachel Rogers Lung Cancer:
Causes: Smoking, air pollution, carcenogens, and genetics. Preventions: Avoid smoking anthing not just tobacco (Probably should add that in there because some people turn to recreational drugs and smoke them and those have a lot more carcenogens than tobbaco smoke. Symptoms: A cough that doesn't go away, wheezing, short of breath, chest pain, and coughing up blood. Treatments: Chemotherpy, Radiation Surgery. Well designed and good information. Nice job Rachel.

Tenison Easton Colon Cancer:
Preventions: healthy life style, don't smoke, know your family history, go to doctor if experience symtoms. Symptoms: Changes in bowl movements.
Random facts: 90% of colon cancer in people over 50. Extremely curable if caught early. Good information and nice pictures Tenison, way to go.
