Your Project

Pick one project that we did yesterday and tell me what scientific method this will teach the kids that do this project.

The experiment with the styrofoam going into the chemical. Then the syrofoam changed to the goop. That can teach the kids how objects can change form. They would also like the goop and think that that was cool and want to do it too.

I think that little kids would like the goop stuff or the balloon and a bottle project. I think that these projects would teach kids how different things put together will form a different type of object.

The experiment with the baloon blowing up because of the baking soda and vinegar. This blows up the balloon with the gases. This can show kids how baking soda and vinegar mix to make a reaction which produces gasses.

The experiment of the baking and the balloon interesting. I think the reason that the baking soda and vinegar thing would be good for the kids because when I was little I liked when something would explode. This would teach them that if you combine two things that it will cause a reaction that is oppisite.

Hix i would have to say the styrofoam one. This will teach kids how things can change form. Also it is extrmeley fun to do and fun to watch. The kids iwll be entertained.

the one when we blowed up a balllllooooooon and it got huge. it will teach them that they dont have to use air to blow up a balllooon. they can be lazy and get fat.

I loved the goop. It was amazing. They would teach kids good stuff.

The roto-copter experiment will teach kids about air resistance, and what can be caused by it under the correct circumstances. I believe the baking soda and vinegar experiments will teach them about chemical reactions, and thier byproducts.

The projects that I thought were cool, were the balloon bomb and the black marker turning into different colors. I think that the balloon bomb will teach the kids that you can take liquids like vinegar and water and add baking soda and cause an explosion. It would have been cool if we could have gotten the balloon to pop. I think they will like the marker one because you add water in a cup and put a black line on paper and it changes into many colors. That is cool and I think kids will enjoy that one!

hmmm....yeah i'd hafta go with the styrofoam project. it was pretty coool if the kids were to do this project they would thing it was like magic or something how the styrofoam turned into like a "goop" or a "puddy" the kids would be pretty amused by it and it would teach them how it changed its shape/form and texture and what not.
