The disease that i picked is colorblindness. IF your are color blind then you are either missing cones on the retina or don't have the right combination of them. You have cones that detect red, blue, and green. You need all of them to see properly.

I picked autism as my disease. This is detected at an early age and causes social and communication problems. There is no cure for autism but there are treatments to help with the symptoms.

The disease i picked was down syndrome. It means you got 47 chromosomes when you were born istead of 46. It causes some mental retardation. It is more common for older women to pass it onto their offsprings.

I did Autism, the symptoms or affects are a small vocabulary or 2-word phrases, dont use eye contact, may not respond to their name, and lack of interest in simple social games. There isn't surgury that can cure it, but people with autism are tought skills to help them do things that are difficult. There isn't really a cause but it says that it is caused by abnormalities in brain structure/function.

I chose Huntington's disease for a topic. This disease is very rare and makes you shake or jerk uncontrolbly. It occurs in 1 person per 10,000 people of Western European descent and 1 per 1,000,000 of Asian and African descent. If one of your parents has this disease you have a 50% of getting it.

I chose to pick Down Syndrome, which is known as Trisomy 21. It affects about 1 in every 800 babies. Down syndrome is when you are born with 47 instead of 46 chromosomes. It can have very bad effects, but you could also live a very normal life. All down syndrome children, have some form of mental retardation.
